Alright, so after a one day delay. Qihui, Su, TY and I have joined the pair in Tanzania!
Soooo.... this is my first contribution to the blog after being a reader for the last week or so since this blog was started. Wanlin! I must say that I love your photos. Very artistic photos.. Now I don't feel like posting any of my inferior photos on the blog. haha.. Actually, I'm just lazy to post photos after I spent all that time uploading them on FB.
Soo... the delay to Qatar, which initially seemed like a ROCKY start to this whole trip turned out to be... well.. not quite so bad. When we arrived at Doha, Qatar Airlines had already made hotel, transport, meal and connecting flight arrangements for us. We were all easily appeased by the nice hotel they put us in, along with the nice buffet meals. A day to tour didn't sound so bad anyway! We managed to squeeze a visit to the Museum of Islamic Arts, the local market (Souq), the port/coast and city centre. I think the person who suffered more was Dear WANLIN as plans for Lushoto were delayed by a day and she continued with her ASSays!
Don't be sad!! we are here now!!! You can drop the essays for 14 days and be prepared for some travelling! Out of the house and away from your writing desk! After that, Rebec will tell you to GUAI GUAI continue.
